About Me

Hi, I’m Azucena.

I’ve never been someone who fits neatly in one box. My path has taken me through marketing teams, classrooms, and event floors.

What I discovered along the way is that I’m at my best when I’m helping people share their stories and connect. Whether it’s students finding their voice or a community celebrating its wins, I love creating moments that feel authentic and meaningful.

Currently, I’m focused on transitioning into the world of sports. Bringing that passion to bridge team accomplishments with their community and nonprofit programs that remind us how powerful athletics can be, and the amazing efforts they have outside of the sport. I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and building work that makes an impact.

Outside of Work:

You’ll often find me surfing, skateboarding, or going to a hockey game. I’ve also been teaching myself to sew and embroider. I am also completing a passion project: illustrating and writing a children’s book.

I also enjoy spending most of my time with my emotional support animal, Indigo.
