Hi, I’m Azucena!

A great photo can capture a milestone. Thoughtful content can make someone feel seen. A well-executed event can turn a group of people into a community. Those are the moments that keep me inspired and remind me why I love this work.

My career has taken me through marketing teams, classrooms, and event spaces, where I’ve built experience in communications, content creation, photography, design, and event production. Today, I work as a Communications and Events Associate at The Girls’ Middle School, helping tell their story and create experiences that make families and students feel connected.

That’s what excites me about what comes next. I’m looking for opportunities where I can keep creating, learning, and working alongside people and communities. Right now, I’m focused on building my career in sports communications and content creation, while continuing to learn, experiment, and grow as a storyteller.

Outside of Work:

You’ll often find me surfing, skateboarding, attending a hockey game (Go Sharks!), or learning something new. Lately, that’s meant teaching myself to sew and learning to play hockey. I also enjoy spending plenty of my time with my emotional support animal, Indigo.
